By accessing Movie Night Pick — our website and newsletter — you agree to these terms. The most important point: Movie Night Pick is a recommendation tool offered for entertainment, and the movie data and news headlines it shows come from third parties we don't control.
Last updated: July 3, 2026.
These terms govern your use of the Movie Night Pick website and newsletter (together, the "Service"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Movie Night Pick suggests movies and TV shows based on the preferences you set. Recommendations are provided for entertainment and convenience only. We do not guarantee that any title is available in your region, on a particular streaming service, or in theaters near you, and showtimes, availability, and pricing are set by third parties and may change at any time. Always confirm availability with the relevant service or theater before making plans.
Movie and TV information, posters, ratings, and related images shown in the Service are supplied by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All such content remains the property of TMDB and its respective owners and is provided subject to TMDB's Terms of Use. We do not warrant that TMDB data is accurate, complete, or current.
The "In the News" section shows headlines and links to movie- and TV-industry news articles published by third parties. These stories are discovered using the GDELT Project; the headlines, the articles they point to, and the websites that host them remain the property of their respective publishers. Movie Night Pick does not write, host, verify, or endorse this content. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any headline, or for the content, availability, or privacy practices of the external sites we link to. Following those links takes you to sites we do not control, which are governed by their own terms and policies.
Movie Night Pick is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TMDB, the GDELT Project, any news publication, streaming service, studio, distributor, or theater chain. All trademarks, service marks, titles, and logos referenced are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the content they describe.
You may sign in using a third-party identity provider (such as Google). You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it through automated means beyond normal use, scrape or redistribute the underlying data, or use it in violation of TMDB's or any provider's terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movie Night Pick and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any information it contains, including any title availability, recommendation, or news headline.
The Movie Night Pick name, original content, and design are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party content (including TMDB data and images, and news headlines and links) remains the property of its owners. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial use only; you may not republish or redistribute its content commercially without permission.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
